What Charlie Cox Thinks About Old Daredevil Cast

Currently in development, the supersized Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again of the MCU has Charlie Cox talking about the old cast. Cox appeared in the German Comic Con Winter Edition and discussed his past project co-actors. Evidently, he values the camaraderie they shared in all the three seasons in the streaming platform before it went home to Marvel at Disney Plus.

Cox is on stage talking about Daredevil and shared with the audience his thought about co-stars Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson. Respectively, they are Karen Page and Foggy Nelson in the Marvel series. Cox said:

With Matt Murdock, I don’t think it gets more deep than Karen Page, and shout out to the wonderful Deborah Ann Woll, who’s just amazing. I was saying this to [Elden Henson] yesterday…I don’t know what’s going to happen with the other characters in the new show, but I know for a fact that Elden and Deborah were the heartbeat of what we did before and the show is a success because of them.

Besides Cox, so far, only Vincent D’Onofrio is on the confirmed list of actors on the show until last week. A little over the weekend, we also reported that Michael Gandolfini is on the series. Also, it appears that Gandolfini is to return for other projects in the MCU. He might very well be as important as Daredevil in the story. But, that is still up to for viewers to find out.

Woll and Henson aren’t exactly officially in the series. But boy! Everyone is rooting for them to be in Daredevil: Born Again at last. Cox’s words give fans renewed hope that the two will also cross the Netflix to Marvel threshold and complete the ‘ol trio again.

Before Cox and D’Onofrio appears in their own Daredevil series in the MCU, they will first appear in Echo. It all roots back in last year’s Hawkeye series. D’Onofrio’s Kingpin also Wilson Fisk appeared in the series. At the last part of that series, Echo shot the criminal mastermind Kingpin to the head. However, the shot happened off-frame and anything could have happened.

We are among the one who truly would love to see Cox, Woll and Henson back as the trio in Daredevil. Please Marvel, make it happen.
