Warner Bros About To Green Light Trilogy for Matt Reeves’ Batman

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is about to receive a green light from Warner Bros for a trilogy based on latest news from Small Screen.

Further, Edward Lauder immediately writes

I can let you know right now that I loved the film.

Theatre bookings and initial reviews signify a very positive reception for Robert Pattinson’s caped crusader.

As early as now Rotten Tomatoes is reflecting an 86% rating on their Tomatometer from 205 reviews.

The 14% who did not enjoy watching it pointed out that it was disappointing, boring, dark and depressing.

But the ones who liked it commonly say it’s the noir Batman and the interpretation of Batman they’re waiting for.

With The Batman on the road to fulfilling the favorable numbers wish in the Box Office records, WB is looking primed to hit that green light.

In an interview with The New York Times, Director Matt Reeves’ and Actor Robert Pattinson shared their takes on the development of the film.

Matt Reeves says

If you can’t find the way to do it with a passionate connection then it’s not going to work, and the audience knows it.

As a testimony to Reeves’ passion, Pattinson shared

Matt was literally, like, ‘No, I am going to make the movie that I want to make, and nothing will stop me.’ He’s a sneaky one. He seems like such a gentle, sensitive person. But he’s hard-core. He will not stop until he’s getting what he wants.

The three-hour run time for the movie does not even worry the director anymore. He states

Once you see the movie, I think that ceases to be an issue. It’s immersive, it takes you along and it keeps you engrossed. …by the way, it was once longer.

Even though the director initially was worried, it all became relief after the test screenings.

Apparently, a good number of people are waiting for the noir Batman he envisions.

Robert Pattinson is game to portray the dark knight again should a sequel or even a trilogy happens according to Flickering Myth.

Pattinson reportedly says

I’m down to do it as many times as people want to see it, really.  Like I mean I got to get this one out first. But yeah, like, I mean I’ve talked to Matt about the idea of doing a trilogy and that would be wonderful. I really, really enjoyed the process and it’s such a fun character to play.

Reeves is also open to the idea considering he is already on board with spinoffs and an animated series from his version of Batman.

The Bat-verse, if we’ve done our job right, is the beginning of a lot of that. It’s a scary moment for moviegoing in general, and these companies are going, we have to find the way — these might be the building blocks that keep theatrical movies alive. The events of the film would create the first glimmer of hope that the city has had in 20 years, but also smash the power vacuum apart. Where the story goes, for sure, I’ve had a lot of thoughts about that…
