The series stars Sylvester Stallone who shows his talent for just enough action and dark comedy. There, his character is Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, who has just got out of prison. Upon his release, he faces his ‘family’ who then sends him to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, he goes back to his old ways and starts a mob group of his own.

Now, the series is on its third of eleven episodes. And already, viewer reactions are putting a smile on Paramount’s face. Indeed, Stallone proves he still has the power to land an upper cut for his tv debut. As proof, Paramount Plus recorded its highest number of single-day sign-up ever! Allen Coulter, Ben Semanoff and Ben Richardson direct episodes of the series. Meanwhile, Taylor Sheridan is the series creator who wrote the teleplay and story. Sheridan is one of the executive producers together with Terence Winter who also has writing credits. Completing the writers’ team are Joseph Riccobene and Regina Corrado.

Other than starring in the series, Stallone is also one of the executive producers together with David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, and Bob Yari. Also, David HutkinAllen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood are on board as EPs. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios have the production company credits.
