TNT’s post apocalyptic science fiction action drama series Snowpiercer comes to its end in the upcoming Season 4.
Deadline posts that the series Snowpiercer enters its end in Season 4 that is currently in the works for TNT.
Snowpiercer premiered its first season back in May 2020. It’s based on the 1982 graphic novel series first published in French by Casterman with Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette as the creators. From the title Le Transperceneige, it was retitled to The Escape. Then, Benjamin Legrand continued the series with two volumes entitled The Explorers in 1999 and The Crossing in 2000. Finally, Olivier Bocquet wrote the conclusion of the series entitled Terminus in 2015.

In the television series, the story takes place seven years after the world frozen over. Thus, people who are left in the world are only surviving in a train in unending trip around the world. However, the train’s sections emphasize the differences in social classes. Whereas, those that belong closer to the front end have better state of living that those closer or at the tail end. The train Snowpiercer is self-sustaining both in its power and ability to support the passengers needs.
The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs and Sean Bean among so many others. Survival of the last humans on the planet, societal discriminations, political power struggles and train command have been the foremost themes in the series. The show highly emphasize what is prevalent even before the great freeze as the events happen inside a life threatening eternally moving vessel.
TNT’s Snowpiercer Will End On Season 4

Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios will executive produce Snowpiercer Season 4. Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt and Scott Derrickson, and the original 2013 film’s producers, Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho’s, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi join as producers.
Season 3 ended with two final choices of survival for the passengers. One is life aboard the Snowpiercer with Melanie and two is life on a habitable patch of land with at the Horn of Africa with Layton. The season ended with an explosive threat for passengers of the Snowpiercer. Which leaves questions on whether the train can still function or do they turn back to live with the other group at the Horn of Africa.
