MCU is releasing Spider-Man: No Way Home The More Fun Stuff Version with three Spider-Men on September 2 in US and Canada.

The video clip showed Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey McGuire together again. This time introducing themselves as Spider-Man seemingly correcting each other who’s who. Then followed by a movie clip where Garfield’s Spidey says:

It’s so cool! We should do this again.

To which, McGuire’s Spider-Man says:

You got it!

A flash of the movie logo appears with the added phrase “The More Fun Stuff” with the date September 2. The clip briefly added the “meme” of pointing Spider-Men in the end with the caption “WHO’S GOING?”

As early as February, we have been hearing that an extended cut theatrical release is happening for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Besides, the movie prior to this third instalment had the same treatment. We only had to wait for the official announcement and here it is. September will bring us an extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In an article from Direct, there is actually an additional 17 minutes on the screen time. They also cited a tweet listing scene titles from an insider. The said scenes are as follows thanks to Amit Chaudhari @5150Aamrit

  • Interrogation Scene Extended – 2:25
  • Peter Day at Midtown High – 5:25
  • Undercroft Montage – 1:35
  • Happy’s Very Good Lawyer – 1:35
  • The Spideys Hang Out – 4:25

Marvel and Sony has done re-releases before with Avengers: Endgame, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius. With the current financial performance of Spider-Man: No Way Home of $1.8B in the worldwide box office, it will be highly possible that it will breach the $2B mark come September.

Personally, I would like to really see more of the interaction between the three Peter Parkers. Truly, they are brothers from other universes coming together. Also the fact that there may be added videos showcasing the very good lawyer that is Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is a happy thought. In fact, aside from this re-release, the fan in me is really hoping that there would be other future projects involving the three Spideys and if they happen to work with Daredevil then that would be great too!
