While this development is emotionally intense on the side of the actor, legal aspects, liabilities and responsibilities for his actions will not go away easily. On top of it all, a whole company, a franchise, a battalion of production crew depends on how his actions affect a pending project.
In Miller’s words:
Consequently, Warner Bros. Discovery has its hopes up a notch with this development. Apparently, in the past months, the actor has appeared for his scheduled re-shoots for the movie that is instrumental in the whole franchise moving forward.

Whether the re-shoots will affect the actor’s appearance or not in projects after The Flash still remains uncertain. Sites have reported that Warner Bros. Discovery has been contemplating on not likely keeping Miller in the role for future DC films. Although, there is no official statement from the studio about this, industry insiders say the studio is also trying to get help for the actor.
The initial plan is for Ezra Miller’s The Flash as the centerpiece of DCEU’s step into its own multiverse. David Zaslav has made a 10-year plan and it appears that The Flash is still part of it. If not, at least has to be there to start it. The movie is already complete, with some tweaks over the recent months. Recasting is no longer feasible considering all the budget it has consumed.
Could this move from the actor be the start of finally realizing the release of the movie? DC films executives together with all the rest of the cast and crew are certainly hoping so.
