Thor: Love and Thunder nears its release and Director Taika Waititi already thinks a Valkyrie or Korg Disney Plus Spinoff is a good idea. MCU characters have evolved and grown so much after every movie that people get curious as to their side adventures. Curious enough to consider they may have a story to tell enough to fill a season on Disney Plus streaming.
In a recent interview with the director while discussing the upcoming movie, Waititi sees continued stories for either Valkyrie or Korg in a Disney Plus series. Movieweb posts the tweet from fandom on twitter as well.

In the article, Taika Waititi says:
“I’d love to see a Valkyrie spinoff. A Korg spinoff would be good as well.”
Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie is King Brunnhilde of New Asgard. She was leader of the shield-maidens who swore to defend the Asgardian Throne until they faced their defeat to Hela. As the lone shield-maiden left, she became a bounty hunter in Sakaar self-imposing her exile because of her failure. Year passed and she finds Thor then witnesses Ragnarok. Accepting the responsibility of King, especially after surviving the snap, King Brunnhilde Valkyrie has become a statesman for New Asgard connecting with other nations of the world.
Korg, as with Waititi’s voice, would be an interesting Kronan to watch. In the comics, Kronans from the Planet Ria belongs to a highly-advanced race who developed space-travel technology thousands of years ago. In fact, may of their space missions involve invasion and conquering less advanced civilizations. Some thousand of years ago, their race even attempted to invade and conquer earth. However, Gilgamesh was able to thwart their plans with the help of a time-travelling Captain America. The Kronans retreated and rallied to come back thousands of years later. The second time they meant to invade, Korg and his brother were among the young bricks in the ranks. At that time, the Kronans were once again defeated as earth has a new hero in Thor.

For Valkyrie to have her own mini series, it would definitely cover perhaps her battles with her sister shield-maidens, then her adventures in Sakaar. Short stories about her life before and after Ragnarok or the formation of New Asgard may be of interest. As for Korg, the back story of his race and their many missions past as well as his time in Sakaar may be on interest for a miniseries.
However, there is another possibility of a series that features both Valkyrie and Korg in the day-to-day misadventures in new Asgard with Miek. That would be a fun watch for a series. Any chances that they may get into their set of missions with Toothgrinder and Toothgnasher? They could be setting some worlds to right after they cause the troubles themselves in the first place.
With Korg? You don’t need to be afraid unless you’re made of scissors!
