If it’s any indication, Alison Pill not being in Star Trek: Picard Season 3 only means something happens in the upcoming Season 2 finale.
An exclusive from MovieWeb reports that actress Alison Pill has given the information that she will get to see Season 3 of Star Trek: Picard much like everyone else.
Pill’s Agnes Jurati is the only character to appear in every episode since season 1 other than Patrick Stewart’s Jean Luc Picard. The information that she will not be in the final season 3 of the original Paramount Plus show is very telling of the Season 2 finale.

Jurati is a cyberneticist in the show. She is a reliable character and is a good feminist role model for viewers. Even though, she has been present in every episode of the show since Season 1, this will no longer be true for Season 3.
In a press junket for her upcoming movie All My Puny Sorrows, a film about depression, suicide and struggles of being in a broken family, Alison Pill says:
I know that season three will be the end. I wasn’t a part of season three, so I don’t have much to say about it in terms of spoilers. I will get to watch along with everybody else.

Soon, Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard will air. The story so far involves time travel and the ever-formidable Borg Queen. Pill’s character, Jurati, has made a whole difference to the Borg Queen’s resolve as they got assimilated. Now the queen aims to develop the Borg centering on cooperation instead of dominance.

It would seem that Pill’s character, Jurati, will be following the Borg Queen as she heads to the Delta Quadrant. Pill recalls her time in the show with only happy memories. The season finale will be on May 5th and she adds:
It’s been a real ride for Dr. Jurati this season. I’m looking forward to seeing the finale and seeing it all kind of come together.
The Season 2 finale airs the same day as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the adventures of Captain Pike on the USS Enterprise before Kirk took over. It’s very interesting how Paramount Plus is truly exploring the galaxies going where no man has gone before.
