Star Trek Picard Season 3 Reunites Old Friends And Foe

Premiering February 16, 2023, Star Trek Picard Season 3 packs so much bringing old friends and crew together as well as some unfriendlies. Paramount Plus took off the New York Comic Con stage with the upcoming 10-episode final season of Star Trek Picard. A good number of key stories from Star Trek: The Next Generation comes back full force for the final season.

Variety catches up with some details on what to expect in the coming season. Not only will Picard’s Number One will be back, but La Forge, Worf and Crusher are also back.

Of course, Sir Patrick Stewart is back as he is the lead of the series. Brent Spiner is on board but not as Data but as his evil twin Lore. The self-aware AI from the Holodeck, Moriarty is also back in the series. Other notable characters fans can look forward to are Vadic which Amanda Plummer is portraying. She is the captain of the menacing looking warship Shrike that is hunting down Jean-Luc Picard and his crew. La Forge in the season will work with his daughters Ensign Alandra and Geordi whom LeVar Burton and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut portrays, respectively.

The 10-episode finale season if Star Trek Picard will drop every Thursdays beginning February 16, 2023 on Paramount Plus.

Stewart and cast members LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis and Brent Spiner graced the Picard Panel at New York Comic Con. Executive producers Alex Kurztman, Terry Matalas and Rod Roddenberry also joined them in the event.

Right now, fans cannot wait to see the developments of the Picard crew story. So much is still to tell and people can already imagine the exchange of dialogues the characters will have. During the panel, Terry Matalas noted that there will be a sort of transfer of responsibilities between The Next Generation crew and the Star Trek: Discovery. It will be evident in the final season of Picard.

Trek Culture channel on YouTube have gone out and declared their excitement. Among the main details disclosed in the trailer is the appearance of U.S.S. Enterprise-F (NCC-1701-F) from Star Trek Online. This means that the Yorktown Science Star Cruiser is now canon.
