Spider-Man: No Way Home Is Coming Back To Theaters

There is quite a good chance that Sony will re-release Spider-Man No Way Home in theaters next month. March 11 to be exact.

Latest news online reports that the third of the Spider-Man home series will get a theatrical re-release much like its predecessor Spider-Man Far From Home.

Being the most talked-about movie since December 2021, perhaps even longer due to anticipation of avid fans, Spidey is still hot news.

Marvel and Sony did the Spider-Men right.

For the third movie, they made it possible to bring together not two but three friendly neighborhood Spider-Men.

The crowd went wild seeing them swing and shoot their web fighting more than a handful of bad guys in New York.

Many fans consider it the best movie ever and in terms of making the “reunion” happen, they are correct.

It even laid down the foundation for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Obviously, ticket sales performance of the movie is outstanding.

$1.8 Billion amidst the pandemic is not an easy feat.

The movie was supposed to have a digital release last February for those who want to relive the experience of seeing it in theatres at home.

However, this was delayed to a March 22, 2022 date citing that additional minutes are featured with the new home release.

Now, we hear that a Director’s Cut is being considered for theatrical release days before the supposed streaming premiere.

It is quite unsurprising given that they have done this before for Far From Home.

The theatrical re-release happened two months after the first premiere.

Sony Pictures Recreate 3 Spidermen Meme for No Way Home's Home Release

Is Sony aiming for the $2B mark?

Quite possibly so.

When you think about how the excitement of talking about the three Spideys is still alive even in forums nowadays, you think people would still venture out and see it in the big screen.

I know quite a lot of people who would too.

I don’t blame them.

Tom Holland, Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Men are three reasons you will think of to watch it again in theatres.

Face them off with Willem DaFoe’s Green Goblin, Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, Alfred Molina’s Doc Oc and Jamie Foxx’s Electro and you get a box office hit.

Whether this news is true or not, Spider-Man secured its position as one of the top-grossing movies of all time.
