Recently released concept art shows Deadpool battling Proxima Midnight in a cameo for the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Highly talented artists in the MCU have thrown ideas in to visualize an upcoming movie through concept art.
The concept arts give a feel to the discussion of plot lines, premise, characters involved, their costumes and even the location.
There’re times concept art actually just shows what it would look like.
It becomes a base line for production to work on the actual set, actual costume and actual scene.
Some creative thinkers can even imagine a whole movie based on just one well-sketched concept art or painting.
As the audience becomes more visually demanding, writers and film makers need sketches to get their flow going.

It is safe to assume that during the brainstorming of the Golden Daggers Club for the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, they needed power characters in the thick of combat.
How big should the ring be? What would it look like? Is it going to be dark like in an alley or bright as if like a mainstream fight ring?
Where do the spectators of the fight stay? Is it a caged fight? Where do they keep the score?
New art revealed by concept artist Andrew Kim show’s a different take on the fighting ring.
The artist indulged in the idea of what if Deadpool was there? What if Deadpool faces off with Proxima Midnight? After all, Deadpool is back at Marvel and will officially be in the MCU anytime now. Maybe he was supposed to debut earlier, albeit in a small cameo.
Fans believe the concept art was also planned to be used. And, that’s not much of a stretch. Marvel is known for planning out all different kinds of scenarios.
It wouldn’t be hard to believe Deadpool in the cage match wasn’t on a list of ideas they had somewhere.
It would have been a huge cameo for Deadpool indeed. And definitely something Wade would do.
Imagine if Deadpool really debuted in the MCU as one of the “gladiators” of Xialin’s Golden Daggers Club!
The fourth-wall breaking mercenary would likely have a line or two too right?
You don’t put Wade in a scene and not have him talk… oh wait they did that.
But Deadpool did not appear in Shang-Chi. If he did, it would have raised a lot of questions. Questions especially about the X-Men too.
Although, it would have been a nice nod to the fans.
All characters reverted to Marvel will have their time to shine in the MCU and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will open the doors for them to enter.
When that time comes, Deadpool won’t just be a cameo.
