Reboot of the NBC Classic of the same name Saved By The Bell apparently will not have Seasons 3 for Peacock.
Deadline writes that Peacock has announced the cancelation of the show to the cast and crew not two days ago.
The new series is actually a continuation of the original Saved By The Bell. In fact, classic characters Zack and Kelly recur in the series. Mark-Paul Gosselaar is still Zack and Tiffany Amber Thiessen is still Kelly. Morris is now the Governor of California who cuts the education budget of the state. Thus ceasing operations for poorly funded schools. Students from these schools transferred to schools with financial advantage.

Due to the Governor’s decision, Bayside High becomes one of the schools to take in students from the closed institutions. The series is a teen sit-com but it also tackled realities of diversity, equal opportunity, race, inclusion and education. Original characters which are series regulars are Jessie and Slater. Elizabeth Berkley Lauren plays Jessie Spano. She has grown to become the school counselor with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Jessie is also a New York Times Best-Selling author of parenting books and mother to one of the new leads. Mario Lopez plays A.C. Slater who is now a physical education teacher and football coach at Bayside High.
The new class features Belmont Cameli as Jamie Spano – Jessie’s son, Dexter Darden as Devante Young – the high school musical enthusiast, Mitchell Hoog as Mac Morris – the governor’s son. Also in the new cast are Alycia Pascual-Peña as Aisha Garcia – Daisy’s competitive best friend, Josie Totah as Lexi Haddad-DeFabrizio – a transgender cheerleader who also stars in her own reality show. Finally, the one providing the main narrative, Haskiri Velazquez as Daisy Jimenez, the smart, ambitious sophomore from a closed school excited to continue education through Bayside High.
