New Transformers Trilogy Begins In 2023

A new Transformers trilogy will begin on 2023 with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts for Paramount Pictures.

Transformers have a long-standing history and relationship with a solid fanbase.

A generation grew up watching and playing with these alien technology sentient robots.

The animated series tapped on values of honor, friendship, family as well as good versus evil.

The Autobots are the good guys from Cybertron.

They’re heroes fighting the evil Decepticons.

The full length animated film was iconic for the decade.

The death of Optimus Prime left fans kids and kids-at-heart so emotional at the time.

Eventually, the creators revived the Leader.

It was through a video entitled, Transformers: The Return of Optimus Prime.

The upcoming movie from Paramount Pictures is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Like the animated series Beast Wars, the 7th movie of the franchise is expected to re-imagine characters.

The robots will have familiar character names but with organic beast modes.

Fans are excited to see Maximal Optimus Primal, Predacon Megatron.

It will be interesting to see their interpretation of the Maximals and Predacons.

In terms of Box Office performance, all the Transformers movies performed well.

They cashed in $4.85B in Worldwide Box Office from a total production budget of $1.085B.

The highest in the bunch is Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Dark of the Moon boasts $1.12B in Worldwide Box Office from a production budget of $195M.

Not bad for a franchise.

Of all the Transformers titles, Bumblebee has the most positive feedback.

Critics consensus on Rotten Tomatoes indicate:

Bumblebee proves it’s possible to bring fun and a sense of wonder back to a bloated blockbuster franchise — and sets up its own slate of sequels in the bargain.

Furthermore, despite Bumblebee’s “measely” $102M (come on! compare it to Dark of the Moon.) it still generated a revenue of $465M.

The amount is almost 5 times the money they spent for it.

It turns out: a Transformers movie averages a revenue of about 4.47 times its budget.

The positive reception of Bumblebee actually revived the faith of the audience to the franchise.

And so here we are with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

Let us face the facts: Paramount has 52 episodes of the Beast Wars to extract three movies from.

However, the Transformers franchise has never really completely followed the original source.

There is also the cited timeline for the Rise of the Beasts.

The animated series later revealed that by the end of Beast Wars II, they were in a post apocalyptic earth.

Reportedly, the upcoming movie takes place between Bumblebee and the first 5 movies.

This will be filling the blank storyline between the movies.

It’s actually making us think that this new trilogy will tackle time travel.

We think so because time travel is also featured in the animated series.

With Steve Caple, Jr. at its helm, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be at 1990s Brooklyn.

Joby Harold is the screenwriter.

Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Lauren Vélez will portray human leads.

We certainly look forward to a story with just enough explosives and less if not no shallow humor.

If anything, continue the tone of connection between the machines and the humans.

In this case, the beasts too.

There is a good glimmer of positive charge for this new trilogy.

And that is the fact that they are actually creating it with the three movies in mind.

To me, at least, that is a good piece of Energon cube.
