After the news of season cancelation for Fate: The Winx Saga, fans would be so happy to know that developments are in the horizon. The series creator Iginio Straffi has posted on his Instagram account that there are two projects in the works now. A computer graphic animated series that reboots the saga and a big budget movie within the Winx world.
Just a few days ago, fans were not expecting anything anymore from Netflix and now, Straffi comes in to bring it Rainbows! Indeed, the production company attunes itself with the fans and knows what the audience wants.

Although, the post is not clear if the big-budget high-quality movie will feature the cast and characters of the Netflix series. What he clearly mentioned though, is that a reboot in the form of a CG animated series is about to enter production. And invites the fans to stay tuned to learn where they can find it. Clearly, it is not with Netflix. At least, not at the moment.
He opens the post with appease the fans concern and apologize as to the way the fans learned about the discontinuation of the series. A portion of is post reads:
…I feel the need to reach out to the global Winx family to reassure you that it is for a bigger reason that Fate: The Winx Saga will not return to Netflix. The news that there will be no season three should not have been delivered in such an abrupt way, disregarding of our involvement and your feelings, by someone who was only part of the Winx Club journey for a few years, after being appointed by Netflix to work on the Fate series. Therefore, unable to grasp the emotional attachment of the fan community and Rainbow’s care of the Winx World.

We can’t help but notice that there is a specific someone he is referring to. The one who is unable to grasp the community and Rainbow’s attachment to the Winx World. But, the creator moves forward to announce the projects in development for Winx while keeping the continuation of Fate vague.
First off – a brand new CG Winx animated series reboot is going into production. Yes, a reboot that I promise to sweep you back to the Winx world. Stay tuned to know mover about it and where to find it.

For all the love you have given to Winx, I am working hard hoping to bring you a top-quality movie where you can experience the Winx world, embracing once again all the core values of what this iconic brand has meant for you. Believing in yourself, empowerment, understanding true friendship, remember the laugh out moments and of course enjoying the sparkling transformation times.
