Netflix is gearing up the Season 2 of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which will be titled Revolution. The saga that is He-Man vs Skeletor continues.

Geeked Week Day 3 focused on animation features and Netflix opened it with a big MOTU news. Masters of the Universe: Revelation, the Kevin Smith run series succeeding the 1983-1985 animated series is getting its season 2.

Netflix is currently running its Geeked Week in all major platforms including YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch and Facebook channels. Day 3 features the platform’s upcoming animated projects. Arcane star Ella Purnell and Masters of the Universe: Revelation’s Tiffany Smith hosted the third day feature.

Right off the bat, Smith did the honors of introducing a “title that is near and dear” to her heart. First Look at the Masters of the Universe: Revolution title featuring a series poster with Skeletor, Sword and Crown. Eternia returns with an all new miniseries following up on Revelation. The upcoming series picks up where Revelation left off.

The new episodes can signify the return of the previous season’s voice actors, particularly Mark Hamill for Skeletor. Tiffany Smith also hinted at new characters that may be joining the cast in the upcoming Masters of the Universe sequel. She also declared that audiences can expect to see more He-Man and Skeletor conflict like you’ve never seen before.

The Masters of the Universe: Revelation has an IMDb rating of 5.2/10, which may indicate the disparate reception between critics and verified audiences. The show scored 92% in the Tomatometer, but only had 39% in the Average Audience score.

Adam Conarroe and Patrick Stannard directed the series that is in Kevin Smith’s writing and editing. Smith has Marc Bernardin, Eric Carrasco, Diya Mishra and Tim Sheridan in his team of writers. The show stars Chris Wood as the voice of Adam and He-Man. Apart from Hamill and Wood, Masters of the Universe: Revelation also had other notable actors lending their voice to the characters. Among them are Sarah Michelle Gellar who voiced Teela, Lena Headey for Evil-Lyn, Alicia Silverstone for Queen Marlena and Kevin Smith himself for Goatman. Mattel Television and Powerhouse Animation.

Kevin Smith will still executive produce with Rob David, Ted Biaselli, Christopher Keenan and Frederic Soulie. The series has Mattel Television as producer with Powerhouse Animation as the animation studio.
