From a recent first look release of Tim Burton’s Wednesday, Netflix now drops the official trailer for the newest Addams Family series. The trailer showed off stunning cinematography and visual effects from the series. Capturing the essence of the Addams Family, particularly of Wednesday’s demeanor. In just two hours from its release, the trailer on YouTube already has almost a thousand views and more than a hundred likes. Comments are coming in to praise the scenes.

The teaser begins with a shot of Nancy Raegan High School. Everything seems quite normal but we all know this is not exactly to Wednesday’s taste.
Gwendoline Christie’s voice speaks over:
Miss Addams, you certainly have a very interesting educational journey. Eight schools in five years.
Then the scene changes to the school’s gym pool, where one of the swim jocks say:
Hey freak! This is a closed practice.
To which the rest of his team mates laugh along. But Jenna Ortega as Wednesday replies:
The only person who gets to torture my brother is me.
Que a classical background music when she raises her hands and shows she has brought two bags full of piranhas. Unceremoniously, she drops the bags into the pool and said:
I did the world a favor. People like Dalton shouldn’t be allowed to procreate.
Then the scene implies one piranha was able to make sure of that. She then adds:
Getting expelled was just a bonus.
A car ride with her parents Morticia and Gomes, whom Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman plays, follows with her father saying:
You will love Nevermore. It’s a magical place where I met your mother. We fell in love.

To this, Morticia adds:
Finally, you will be among peers who will understand you. Maybe you’ll even make some friends.
Then it cuts to a scene in the woods where a schoolmate approaches Wednesday asking:

Here, Wednesday answers:
I do like stabbing.
Scenes depicting various activities follow including a fencing match, a younger Wednesday presumably preparing to torture her brother, the hand Thing lighting a match stick and an explosion within the school grounds right in front of the administrator.
Wednesday speaks:
Little did I know I’d be stepping into a nightmare full of mystery, mayhem and murder.
All the while scenes showing what’s in store for the coming season flash quickly also showing a school dance and a run in the woods.
Wednesday then declares:
I think I’m going to love it here.
Then stares into the fourth wall.
Final moments show Wednesday sharply snap twice before the announcement of her arrival on Netflix this fall.
