Daredevil is finally coming home to Marvel as the series is in development to be revived for streaming on Disney Plus.
As fans of the show, this couldn’t be more exciting to know. According to Variety, Daredevil is getting a new series as plans move forward with Matt Corman and Chris Ord becoming its writers and executive producers.
Word has been going around for so long now ever since the reacquisition of the Marvel Netflix characters into Disney. The appearances of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in Hawkeye were like a promise to fans. The promise that they will be having their own turn in the MCU very very soon.

For years, we have waited for the next stories of the Man Without Fear. His quest to rid Hell’s Kitchen of crime putting him and Kingpin to spar more than once is still unresolved.
There is however a bit of reservation that is still in order. As such, Marvel has yet to officially announce the project. At this point, anything can still change. But, it doesn’t take away the fact that we are excited!
Corman and Ord’s IMDb profiles already list Daredevil to their credits as writers together with Five Against a Bullet, and Covert Affairs. Both were writers, executive producers and co-showrunners on the NBC drama shows The Enemy Within and The Brave as well as the CW series Containment.

Whether the series will be a reboot as we have previously reported or a continuation as reported in Geekosity, there is relief in the knowledge that the Daredevil drought is about to end.
Charlie Cox’s really good lawyer role in Matt Murdock is really coming to Disney Plus. Rumors are also going around that he is even to appear in Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk coming soon in the same streaming platform. We do hope they also get the gang back Foggy Nelson and Karen Paige deserve to jump in from Netflix to Disney Plus too.
