Deadline’s exclusive report states that Will Forte and Lana Condor now joins John Cena in the hybrid film.
The film Coyote vs Acme focuses on Wile E. Coyote’s decision to sue the ACME Corporation.
ACME Corporation has to defend the repeated failures of the products purchased.
The purchased products were the items he used in pursuit of the Roadrunner.
The original premise of the film comes from Ian Frazier’s humor article “Coyote v Acme” from the New Yorker.
Dave Green is to direct the hybrid film with Samy Burch to write the screenplay.

Will Forte will be Wile E. Coyote’s lawyer in the endeavor against the ACME Corporation.
The ACME Corporation is represented by John Cena’s character.
Through the course of the lawsuit, Coyote and his lawyer forges a true friendship.
James Gunn, known for having an eye on misfit characters i.e. Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad including the recently concluded series Peacemaker, will produce the movie. His input on how to bring dimension to various characters may play a significant influence in the film.
Together with Gunn is Chris DeFaria who also produced Ready Player One, Mad Max: Fury Road, Gravity, and 300.
In addition, Chris DeFaria produced animated films such as How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, The LEGO Movie and Happy Feet. He is also not a stranger to hybrid films since he recently produced Tom & Jerry, and two Harry Potter VR experiences for Warner Media.
Will Forte is not only an actor, comedian but also a writer and producer. He is a cast member of Saturday Night Live from 2002 to 2010, created and starred in the sitcom The Last Man on Earth. In 2013 he won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Nebraska from the National Board of Review. Will Forte also won in Toronto After Dark Film Festival as Best Villain for his role in Extra Ordinary back in 2019.

Lana Condor is an actress who is also a singer and producer as well. Her movie debut is in X-Men: Apocalypse as Jubilee in 2016. She is Lara Jean Covey in the romantic-comedy in Netflix To All The Boys series. Her more recent projects are Deadly Class with her character Saya Kuroki and in the film Alita: Battle Angel where she is Koyomi.
John Cena is quite busy lately right after the finale of Peacemaker. He is currently filming for Freelance after three projects: The Independent, Argylle, and Snafu entered post-production phase.
Warner Bros Animation Group has been the home for several well loved franchises in the animated films from The Jetsons and The Flintstones to the LEGO and DC movies. DC League of Super-Pets is coming very soon and a Christmas-themed Scooby prequel is also for release this year.
