Unlike the beginning of the season with Rivervale, Kiernan Shipka’s Sabrina Spellman now arrives at Riverdale on Season 6 Episode 19. The series based on Archie comics characters have been delving into the mysteries of the supernatural. A new character in the show, Heather portrayed by Caroline Day, introduces Sabrina this time to Riverdale.
Not to confuse viewers, but the beginning of the season with the 5-episode event for Riverdale, the show introduced Rivervale. There a version of Sabrina appeared. Everyone assumes that the upcoming episode is the Sabrina who belongs to the ended Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

According to Screenrant, the upcoming version of Sabrina would be the Greendale Sabrina in the Netflix series. This also means that Cheryl Blossom whether Rivervale or Riverdale is truly a witch. However, in Riverdale, Sabrina has more history with the new character Heather than Cheryl. By the end of the latest episode, Chris O’Shea’s Percival Pickens was able to enact a plague in Riverdale causing the death of the firstborns. This includes Archie, Toni, Fangs, and many others. Their deaths are the reason Sabrina is coming to Riverdale.
Fans have long awaited the arrival of Sabrina the teenage witch to Riverdale. Ever since Chilling Adventures of Sabrina began in 2018, viewers have long wished the two series would crossover. Given that Sabrina has always been a part of the Archie comics, it’s understandable that viewers of both series have such expectations. Kiernan Shipka’s portrayal of the teenage witch is very well received by fans comics or television. For any live action appearance, it’s always Shipka whom they see playing the role.
About six months ago, Entertainment tonight uploaded a video with an interview with Shipka. There, she shared that for any project that comes along, she will always be on board to portray Sabrina anytime.
When asked if she were open to more projects about Sabrina in the future, she answered:
I’m never the one that’s greenlighting these things. Like, I’m always down. One thing to know about me is that I’m perpetually down to reprise Sabrina, Sally? Anytime! Say it I’m there. There’s other people that have to do more. I’m a YES woman.

Despite the diminishing viewership, Riverdale has still proven itself to be a popular series especially after its availability on Netflix. However, CW has already announced that the series will be given its finale season on its seventh run. Season 6 is laying out the blocks towards the end season. In fact, Variety reported that the final season will debut in 2023. Whereas his season, creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa brings the two worlds of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale. Cast members are KJ Apa as Archie, Lili Reinhart as Betty, Camila Mendes as Veronica, Cole Sprouse as Jughead, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl, Mädchen Amick as Alice, Charles Melton as Reggie, and Vanessa Morgan as Toni.
