Lead actor to the upcoming Marvel series Agatha: Coven of Chaos Kathryn Hahn just shared the production will start shooting next month. After her spectacular performance as WandaVision’s Agnes or Agatha Harkness, Hahn captured critics and fans ‘ fancy and bagged a spin-off series. Initially titled Agatha: House of Harkness it’s now Agatha: Coven of Chaos. While the actress did not add more detail as to the story that they will tell, she did express excitement as the production starts shooting next month.
We got the twitter clip of Brooke Geiger McDonald asking Hahn about the development from Murphys Multiverse and here is what she said.

McDonald asked Hahn about the project during the Chicago International Film Festival and Better Chicago. Hahn quickly recalled the thrill of accepting the role and shared the news.
It’s nothing I could have ever dreamed of! …to be asked to play a centuries-old witch that no one had ever heard of. And then all of a sudden, cut to a spin-off show, which is just like, ‘What!?’
So, it’s very, very exciting. We’re in the middle of getting the Coven ready, and it’s going to be very delicious. I’m very excited for people to see that. We start shooting in about a month.
It may have gone without saying that we can expect official announcements about details of the series soon. Just what exactly could be in the Coven of Chaos?
Also, it isn’t clear whether the series will be a backstory for Agatha or is it a continuation of WandaVision? Some say it can be a bit of both.

Recently, rumors circulated that Wiccan and Hulking might just be in the series. And of course since we are talking about a powerful sorceress practicing the dark mystic arts, there will always be the possibility of Mephisto.
Remember that time when a good number of fans were sure WandaVision brings Mephisto into the MCU? Yeah, good times! Now, there is actually a possibility that the demon is actually already in and we are just not aware of it. We also have reported recently that Sacha Baron Cohen is on route to the MCU as the demon himself. Although, his appearance will be for Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart.
What’s definite though is the fact that the spinoff series is really happening. As the production starts next month, the expected finish will be early 2023. After postproduction, it’s highly likely that it will arrive on Disney Plus late 2023 or early 2024.
We wonder if Agatha gets a new catchy song while she’s at it. Besides, it’s Agatha all along!
