Justin Timberlake In Talks For Villain Role In MCU

Who had Justin Timberlake in talks for a possible villain role in the MCU on their 2022 bingo board?

Despite his many acting credits, it seems fans in general still see him more as a singer than an actor.

They might want to remember Heath Ledger who was seen as too much of a pretty boy to play the Joker in 2008’s The Dark Knight.

It seems to be forgotten that Justin Timberlake has taken dramatic turns.

He’s been in some very well-regarded movies including The Social Network, Friends with Benefits, and Trouble with the Curve.

He was also great in Southland Tales (an underrated film from the director of Donnie Darko).

Apparently, Marvel has a longer memory than the rest of us.

Giant Freaking Robot has announced that a source close to them has mentioned that Justin Timberlake is being considered for multiple roles in the MCU.

The only one we have any information about at this point, though, is as potential a villain in the Disney+ show Ironheart.

The character of Ironheart, generally known as Riri Williams, is said to be making her first appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The fact that her introduction is going to be in the movies first seems to mean that Marvel Studios is taking the introduction of this character very seriously.

Though the movies have proven that they’re more than willing to move away from the comics, Ironheart has a long list of villains, despite only having been introduced in 2016.

One of her greatest enemies thus far is Doctor Doom.

Could we see Justin Timberlake taking on the role of the ruler of Latveria and one of the single greatest villains in all of Marvel?

As much as that might seem unlikely for such a character to be introduced on the small screen, we’ve seen it before when Kang the Conqueror was established in MCU canon through the Loki series on Disney+.

At this point, it might only be in talks, but the fact that he is being considered for multiple roles would add to the likelihood that will we see the former Mickey Mouse Club star in the MCU somewhere.

As we’ve seen with many of the MCU stars, taking on a role is a responsibility that can last a decade or more.

Is Justin Timberlake ready to enter into one of the single largest film/television franchises in history?

Only Time will tell.
