Yesterday, we reported that Jason Momoa may have hinted at Zack Snyder coming back to DC Studios for Justice League 2. Today, thanks to Cinemablend, he clarifies whatever form of misunderstanding that remark may have brought about.

In another interview for Slumberland, Momoa clarifies any misconceptions picked up from his earlier statement. Furthermore, he reiterates that there is another exciting project that will happen under the new CEOs of DC Studio. In the question whether he meant Zack Snyder and that the upcoming dream project is Justice League 2, the actor answered:

Those two have no relation. It was two days of amazing news. That one is like beyond, that one trumps the DC one.

So, DC fandom let us calm down. He didn’t mean Zack Snyder’s return nor Justice League sequel in the works. Although, that doesn’t mean they aren’t happening either. Didn’t confirm, didn’t deny. As for Zack Snyder being the one he is referring to, Momoa only has this to say:

No. No, no, no, no. You have to dig deeper. It’s the Holy Grail. And it’s different than the DC thing. And I really can’t say anything. That’s it.

Now, the fandom has moved on in its speculations. Moved on to the point of suggesting that Momoa is actually in talks to work on a different DC character. And that DC character is Lobo. As it happens, DC Studio co-CEO James Gunn recently started a new social media platform. And on his first post, he features a photo of the alien bounty hunter. Immediately, fans hoped this meant the character is jumping from comics, animation, television live action to theatrical adaptation. Maybe, we’ll get a new update about this too in the following days.

For now, Jason Momoa is the character Flip in the upcoming Slumberland movie streaming on Netflix starting November 18. He joins Mercedes Blanche, Chris O’Dowd, Kyle Chandler, India de Beaufort and many more. The family-oriented comedy and adventure movie is under Francis Lawrence’s direction. Writers Michael Handelman and David Guion developed the adaptation for television from the eponymous book author Winsor McCay. Handelman, Guion and Ray Angelic are the feature’s executive producers.
