Ironheart has now been revealed in Marvel’s latest promo art for Black Panther Wakanda Forever.
A couple of weeks ago we were able to see Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart which was filming for the Disney Plus series. While we found it amazing that she looks pretty close to Ironman or War Machine which is just fitting. We haven’t really seen her armor or suit version in the upcoming Black Panther sequel. What we did see is a glimpse of the character Riri Williams making a shape of a heart made out of iron. We do hope that we will see more of her in action in the next trailer.

But for now, It seems that @YerrPb has provided us some promotional art that shows a look of Ironheart in the film. The image also includes other characters such as Namor, which we have seen before, Shuri and more.
It seems like this version of Ironheart might be her Mark-1 since parts of her body is still without armor. This, after comparing it to the one for the series where her body was fully armored from head to toe. The contraptions seem to be very different from her comic origin though. In the comics, she created her Model 1 (yes, it’s Model, not Mark) by modifying the Iron Man Armor Model 41. This is why her first look used to looked like Iron Man. But I do wonder that it’s possible that the series may introduce that Iron Man armor since the look of her armor in the series does resemble Iron Man.

We do expect that her armor evolves through the series. But I do wonder if we will see an armor closer to what she is currently using in the comics.
Riri Williams aka Ironheart first appeared in Invincible Iron Man Vol 2 No. 7 in May 2016. She is a creation of Brian Michael Bendis, Mike Deodato, Eve Ewing and Kevin Libranda.
In the movie and series, Dominique Thorne will play Ironheart. The movie will be her introduction into the MCU this coming Novermber 2022. While the series will be released sometime in late 2023 with six episodes.
