Recently, Guinness World Record holder Hugh Jackman answered a Deadpool 3 question about his preparations for Wolverine. While the actor already knows about the script, he outright said he won’t be sharing the information. This tango with Merc with a Mouth actor Ryan Reynolds finally takes the dancefloor sooner rather than later.
It’s quite evident that both actors have enjoyed their banter in social media. And, even though Jackman never actually thought about doing Wolverine again, well, here we are. In a quick interview with AP Entertainment on twitter via murphysmultiverse the actor shared what he’s been doing to get ready for the production.

Generations of fans from comics to movies even before Fox merged with Marvel bringing the mutants home, Jackman is already Wolverine. Literally, no other actor has ever portrayed the role in the silver screen in live action. The Guinness Book of World Records gave him the record for “the longest career as a Marvel superhero” together with Sir Patrick Stewart in 2019. To date, Stewart keeps the title after his appearance on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, racking in 21 years and 296 days for the role. Most likely, the record will bounce back to Jackman once Deadpool 3 hits the theaters. *snikt*snikt*
Thus, it’s understandable that it isn’t only the fans who are excited to see him again as Wolverine aka Logan on the big screen. Of course, together with Reynolds, he is too. He says:
I can tell you I’m gonna have the time of my life. I can tell you that I’ve started back at the gym and I’m eating a lot and I feel bad for the cast of Music Men, the amount of protein shakes I’m having. But it’s a lot of fun. It’s been five years and I really never thought I’d come back and I’m really, really excited about it. Actually, I do know a bit about the script, but I’m not gonna tell you.

However, what he did get to tell is the demeanor of the upcoming Mutant in the MCU. Being the Deadpool instalment that will be the first to occur after the merger, Wade Wilson and Logan will then be in Earth 616. Or perhaps get to happen to be there for some reason whatsoever. You know how these things go. Definitely, these will be addressed with no less than several fourth wall breaks from Deadpool himself. The rapid healing mutant Wolverine actor answers:
There’s no choice. He’s definitely the angry and acerbic, grumpy…and he’s gonna take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds, let me tell you. Physically, that is.
Fans are expecting a fun ride of a movie. And by the looks of the video he and Reynolds shared on what the movie is about, it’s going to be a blast of a story. Production is at its early stages with main shoots hopefully to move forward next year. All signs indicate that it will fulfill the 2024 release.
