It will be just a matter of time and we will all definitely see Henry Cavill don the Superman cape again, this time for The Flash. In a follow up report from our posted article last March, DC is looking pretty good with this news.
Giant Freakin Robot reports that Cavill is back as Superman in DC films. Furthermore, he is back for the DCEU. It turns out that the reported rewrites and reshoots for The Flash mainly involves adding Superman into his story.

Furthermore, Geekosity also supports this news. Even though there is no confirmation from Warner Bros. Discovery, all indicators point to Cavill being back as Supes.
Indeed, the change in management back in Warner Bros. Discovery had a huge part in this. Evidently, David Zaslav is keen on bringing DC Film back for the big screen. DC belongs to the big screen. Furthermore, Superman deserves better treatment in the movies. Not to mention, Henry Cavill still being the perfect actor to cast for the Last Son of Krypton.
According to the reports, Henry Cavill’s return is due to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s recommendations. In fact, there are also rumors that Cavill’s Superman will truly appear in Johnson’s upcoming Black Adam movie. Definitely, it would not be the ‘headless Kryptonian’ like what they did with the first Shazam! movie. It may not be likely, but it would still be great if Cavill will also appear in Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
I’d like to believe that the chances of Cavill coming back have always been there. For some reason or another, there could just be something happening in the background which is why things happened the way they did for the recent infamous Superman appearances. Now that information like these is coming more frequently, I do want to believe that.

Once Henry Cavill appears as Superman again up in the silver screen, we can all believe that The Flash will indeed usher in a better DC era. Warner Bros. Discovery owes it to the fans who have long depended on them to produce movies that befit their comic book heroes. These are characters people have grown to love. This is why fans are so passionate about franchises under DC.
Some people actually looked upon these characters for inspiration. For some, the comic book pages provided an escape during challenging times when they were growing up. So, here’s to hoping DC gets better at their movie game. Get the Justice League back DC. Get the DCEU back.
