In a tweet from Grace Randolph, she states that the new Flash movie will have the final appearance of Batfleck, Ben Affleck as Batman.
It will most likely be the last time we see Henry Cavill as Superman, which has actually been confirmed by many sources.
Grace Randolph also states that Supergirl will be the new Superman.
As well that Michael Keaton is working with Black Canary and he names Batgirl as the new Batman.
She also reveals that we see the formation of a new Justice League in the upcoming Flash film.
Grace Randolph Says The Flash Movie Will Erase Snyder Films
Another insider, who is reportedly “deep in the DC weeds”, has said that the Flash film will completely erase the Zack Snyder films from the DCEU.
His contributions include, Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman and Justice League.
This statement has been reputed by a DM from Ezra Miller (The Flash), himself, in which he stated:
No power or force in any known megaverse would or could ever erase Zack Snyder’s mighty (works).
What does this ‘reboot’ look like for the DCEU?
Across the internet, on social media, fans seem nearly outraged at the idea that Warner Bros. is not taking into account what they would like to see in the DCEU.
Moreover, It would appear that even though not all fans were pleased with previous works in the DCEU, they’re also not thrilled at beginning anew.
Grace Randolph said:
This is new DC, let’s be open minded & give it a fair shot.
Will the new DC include familiar faces from the CW’s run of shows? Unfortunately, not likely.
Being open-minded to new possibilities is one thing, but completely disregarding the work of those that came before seems like a slap in the face, don’t you think?
We may not have all loved what Snyder did with the DCEU, but does that warrant forgetting his contributions?
Luckily, we can still enjoy performances by Cavill in The Witcher Netflix series (if you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it!).
However, I’m sure just because their time in the DCEU may be over, we haven’t seen the last of Ben Affleck or any of the others who will be departing that universe.
The Flash will be released in theaters November 4, 2022.
