Fans Growing Anxious About Superman With Henry Cavill

Just barely a month after the Black Adam cameo of Henry Cavill as Superman, fans are now anxious if it’s actually going to happen. Despite the hype that Cavill’s cameo created for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam movie, development doesn’t really happen that quickly. Is it possible that fans have already forgotten what Cavill has said? Remember his Instagram post:

A very small taste of what’s to come, my friends. The dawn of hope renewed. Thank you for your patience, it will be rewarded.

In the video he specifically said it is official that he is back as Superman. For an actor to be able to post what he did, use the image and terms that he did, it means dotted lines have been signed. A deal happened. Fans have waited for years and he is promising it’s going to happen. Until we see him say otherwise, Superman is officially happening. The last part of the video and message is crucial. He is asking for more patience.

Definitely, a great story that the last son of Krypton deserves will not happen in a flash. See what we did there? Now, there are sites saying it is in trouble because no writer or director is on board to actually make it. Even though we find it weird, there is a silver lining. It is also amusing. How so? For one thing, fans are truly excited to see it sooner rather than later. They want to know about everything as it all develops.

If they are not making any official announcement, it doesn’t mean they aren’t working on it.

You know the feeling that when you send a message and you don’t get a reply in an hour, you think you’re about to break up? Maybe, it’s something like that. So, I guess, for us fans, what we can do is just chill. Let them do their work. We aren’t even mentioning that the DC Studios has just been existing for only 19 days with their new co-CEOs. James Gunn and Peter Safran are still filling out the details to complement David Zaslav’s 10-year plan.

Let’s give them some breathing space you know?
