Patiently waiting for Part 2 of Stranger Things Season 4, Duffer Bros now promises Stranger Things 5 to be even more emotional.
The fourth season of Stranger Things have been everything we have been waiting for and more. Creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer are keeping us at the edge of our seats and we can’t wish for July 1 to arrive sooner.
The Duffer brothers told The Wrap about Season 4’s runtime and their inspiration for the stories in the episodes. The interview included Season 5 development that upon pitching the story, executives got so emotional and cried. Stranger Things have truly come a long way since its first season in 2016. For over half a decade, the cast and crew has the show as part of their lives. Just for perspective, people who watched it for the first time in middle school are probably on their way to college this year.

The cast grew up before the audiences’ very eyes themselves. The flashback scenes of this season is undeniably nostalgic. Quite similar to the feeling when Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows arrived in theaters. A bunch of kids that initially require babysitting are now again about to save the world for the nth time.
As expected, each character has specific development in their own growth but one rose above all in the first part of Season 4. And, that can be both figuratively and literally. Sadie Sink’s Maxine Mayfiled is everything emotional in the the latest episodes. Her struggle with depression and how she is fighting it through on Episode 4 is just power.
Joseph Quinn’s Eddie Munson is also a fan favorite this season. Even though he is a recent addition to the band of misfits, he truly pulls his weight. He even gives his insights to Joe Keery’s Steve Harrington.
A good number of fans speculate Eddie will be doing a great sacrifice by the end of Part Two. And, the same can be true for Steve. In the teaser, Eddie is shown playing his guitar atop the trailer with his sound system turned up at volume 11. Yes, pun may be intended. This shows that he is using his music to help the crew on their path to defeat Vecna. Steve may sacrifice himself to save Nancy. In addition, he is already wounded by creatures from the upside-down.

When the Duffer Brothers pitched Stranger Things 5, they mean to bring the series its well-deserved closure. Ross Duffer particularly answered:
We do have an outline for Season 5 and we pitched it to Netflix and they really responded well to it. I mean, it was hard. It’s the end of the story. I saw executives crying who I’ve never seen cry before and it was wild. And it’s not just to do with the story, just the fact that it’s like, Oh my God, this thing that has defined so many of our lives, these Netflix people who has been with us from the beginning, seven years now, and it’s hard to imagine the journey coming to an end.
The same can be said for the many fans and audiences that have grown to love Eleven and her friends. Stranger Things is currently streaming Seasons 1 to Season 4 Part One on Netflix. Season 4 Part Two is going to be epic with two episodes as long as any blockbuster movie. The Season 4 Finale arrives July 1 this year.
