If things turn out to be true, Deadpool 3 might just add Kang the Conqueror, Loki, Storm and Cyclops in its story. In an out-of-this-world development yet undoubtedly somewhat unsurprising, the rumored presence of these characters makes sense. In its growing list of characters, it’s evident that Deadpool 3 is playing the multiverse card. Considering the movie is smack in the middle of the Multiverse Saga of Marvel Studios, it isn’t unlikely at all. Add to this, the information that Howard the Duck would also be there as we have also reported earlier.
This fish-out-of-water is about to jump a huge ocean of possibilities and we’re all waiting to surf its waves. In Giant Freakin Robot, the multiverse is coming into clear view for Deadpool with Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. And of course, with Kang’s appearance, it makes Tom Hiddleston’s Loki very plausible. Coming from the events of Loki 1, which Kang would they be using exactly?

As for Storm and Cyclops, well, the presence of Wolverine in the movie makes that believable. In fact, reports say that Halle Berry and James Marsden are in talks to reprise their respective roles for the film. Though no official announcements have been made from any camp regarding their involvement. It brings to light the idea that Deadpool 3 is somewhat opening doors to different universes as well. Will it be like Spider-Man: No Way Home? Like, is it going to be hyper meta-aware that it’s forming to be a satire or parody of sorts?
Deadpool getting connected with Loki and Kang the Conqueror though would imply the Time Variance Authority angle. Has Deadpool suddenly become a variant? From the end of Deadpool 2? There is another possibility right there. We all know how strict TVA is toward people who change events of the timeline. But what kind of timeline is left to save? That’s probably where Kang and Loki come in.

Ultimately, this news though it’s not confirmed and official, excites fans undoubtedly. For one thing, the presence of these characters fortifies their stories as part of the MCU. Finally, the X-Men get to come into the MCU. After all these years! Who knew, that if these do pan out, it would be Deadpool who’d carry them over? Mind-boggling indeed.
