Rumors about Charlie Cox appearing as Daredevil in the upcoming Echo Series on Disney Plus ups it a notch with some costume details. In addition, the Hawkeye Series spinoff will also feature Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Alaqua Cox’s Echo has her own series and is currently deep in production.
Word on the streets of Hell’s Kitchen is that The Man Without Fear is looking for Jessica Jones in the Echo Series. Characters from the old Netflix Marvel series are steadily easing their way into the MCU. Last year’s Hawkeye introduced Maya Lopez aka Echo. She has been looking to settle a score with Ronin, who happens to be Clint Barton after the Snap. By the end of the series, Echo finds out that Kingpin is the one behind the murder of her uncle.

Somehow, Echo’s story weaves in Daredevil. The update as to his appearance in the series include some details about his costume. Apparently, the blind hero will sport a predominantly black suit with some red details. According to a post from comicbookmovie, the Devil in Hell’s Kitchen appears in three episodes of the Echo series. Of course, his connection with Wilson Fisk is already a given.
How he and Echo will be working together will have something to do with Fisk most definitely. Bringing Jessica Jones into the mix will involve her skills as a detective at the very least.
Fans have long awaited the appearance of Matthew Murdock into the MCU in a more extensive manner other than a cameo. Much like in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he is truly a very good lawyer. Perhaps, Murdock will also find his way to be of service to Maya, you know, with the gunshot to Wilson Fisk’s head and all. Fisk is to appear alive and well despite wearing an eyepatch. Again, due to the bullet that entered his head. Furthermore, his character in turn, progresses as one who will be running for Mayor of New York.
That line of progression may also be a point of entry for another previous Netflix Marvel character. Marvel fans point out that Luke Cage is the man to beat for that seat in New York in the comics.

While all these information are interesting, we can only root for Maya for the series. There is a growing concern if the series will deviate its focus towards the other characters in the report. After all, this is the series for Echo to come as her own. Matthew Murdock’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Kingpin aside, this is Echo’s story still.
The Echo series brings Maya Lopez back to her home community. For her to move forward, she has to go back to her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family. Joining Alaqua Cox in the series are Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs and Cody Lightning, with Graham Greene and Zahn McClarnon.
