Cox has been very vocal about loving to keep playing Matt Murdock aka Daredevil for more times he could. The series formerly streamed on Netflix and was among the best Marvel projects in the service. It opened the doors for the rest of the Defenders with their respective series: Jessica Jones with Krysten Ritter, Luke Cage with Mike Colter, and Iron Fist with Finn Jones. The series also introduced Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.

While the Netflix Marvel shows are now streaming in Disney Plus, these are not exactly considered as part of Universe 616. Thus, the characters are up for reintroduction for the MCU. Point to take, the costume is definitely different as seen on the newest She-Hulk trailer. Most likely, the series as well as his appearance in Echo will be the preview of the Universe 616’s Matt Murdock and Daredevil. On a side note, the newest animated series Spider-Man: Freshman Year will also feature another Daredevil. The animated character will also be using Cox’s voice.

Cbr.com posts that the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again. Presumably, the series takes inspiration from the 1986 Daredevil arc of the same title. Could this be the blueprint for the upcoming series? Could the supersized 18-episode series be that long because they will also fit in the introduction of the other Defenders? There have been reports that Ritter has returned to her role as the strongest private investigator. In fact, her role could even be in the upcoming She-Hulk series.

Fans of the television series character showed him much love and Marvel Studios now acknowledges this with Daredevil: Born Again. There is so much that the Man Without Fear has yet to do. With Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin very much alive after the events of Hawkeye, Daredevil has to show up. There would have been a time that the thought of Daredevil, Echo, Jessica Jones and She-Hulk working together would be impossible. Well, not anymore.

Bring on Phase 5 Marvel, thank you very much.
