Apart from positively capturing the audience, the movie is in position for critical acclaim in production as well as in its cast performance. True enough, critics commend Angela Bassett in her portrayal of Queen Ramonda together with Wright and Huerta in the film. Now, people are posting that it will not be a surprise if they get Oscar nominations for the film.

Indeed, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is becoming a worthy sequel to its predecessor. Back in 2018, Black Panther wowed audiences of the world and won 3 Oscars out of its 7 nominations. Undeniably, only a few superhero movies have landed nominations and awards from the Academy and other prestigious award-giving bodies. Director-writer Ryan Coogler has done truly a marvelous job.

Meanwhile, spinning off from the movie is an upcoming Disney Plus series Ironheart which will focus on Thorne’s Riri Williams. As the final movie of the MCU’s Phase 4, certain details in the movie indicate Black Panther passing the baton to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania. Which comes to theaters on February 17, 2023.

Other movies that Black Panther 2 sets up for are the upcoming Captain America: New World Order, Armor Wars and Thunderbolts.
