Domestic Box Office churned in $67M plus International Box Office at $73M adding up the Worldwide Box Office at $140M. This pushes The Rock’s 2019 Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw to number two, which had $60M in its opening weekend.
$140M powers Black Adam all the way up to first place over all Dwayne Johnson led movies in his entire career. Just yesterday we reported that the movie is in position to take number one slot and now it is official. The data is from two sites recording financial record of notable full length features. Both The Numbers and Box Office Mojo post the same digits.

Despite the feedback from critics dropping it further to 39% today from 41% last Saturday, the audience rating went up from 89% to 90% with more than 2500 verified ratings.
Many moviegoers who have seen the movie over the weekend have expressed appreciation for Black Adam. Almost everybody commended the effects and action packed in the movie. With everything that is going on, people just need that escape. Black Adam is that movie where you can just enjoy the show. No questions, just take it as it is.
